Job Description:
- Analyze, design, develop, deploy and test web and desktop applications
- Maintain and enhance existing web applications

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Systems Engineer
Location: Bloomington, IL
Job Description:
- Software and hardware management with oversight for support and patching of Microsoft servers and systems
- Assisting and supporting team members to ensure quality customer service
- Work toward timely resolution of incidents as identified by the Service Desk
- Resolve issues arising on supported servers and networks, escalating and managing them as appropriate
- Monitor and resolve problems with backups to ensure adequate protection of company data
Qualifications and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Some experience in installing and supporting Microsoft server infrastructure (hardware and software) and supporting products in an enterprise environment
- Experience providing services for users across multiple sites
- Understanding of the problems and considerations of rollouts and system changes on a large user base
- Detailed knowledge of DNS, AD (2003 or 2008), WINS, DHCP
- Detailed knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and all services and components
- Good understanding of NTFS permissions, DFS, FSR, Group Policies
- Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, ports, TCP, UDP, routing tables, subnets, vLANS
- Understands advanced relational database concepts
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- The ability to document work to a high, clear standard.
- Ability to proactively identify and define necessary tasks and work on them with limited supervision
